Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026 · Last updated 6 October 2026

The short version: we never see what you type into our apps; it stays on your own device. We don't sell your information. Two things do reach Google, and both are explained below: some current app versions load their typefaces from Google Fonts, and the Android version of Ashcore shows ads from Google AdMob: optional rewarded ads and one small banner in the upgrade menu. The Vibe.PNG website is free and may show ads on its Ashcore game page; the home page and Pace pages stay ad-free. Pace is free and ad-free. Pace Pro is a paid app ($3.99) with the same privacy as Pace and no ads. Ashcore is free on the web with no ads, and free on Android with ads through Google AdMob.

This policy covers the Vibe.PNG website and these apps, on the web and on Google Play:

Who this policy is from

Vibe.PNG and its apps are made and published by Vibe.PNG, an independent developer ("we", "us"). Pace was previously published as Superior Ledger, and this policy replaces that app's earlier policy.

The website

The Vibe.PNG website is free. It has no accounts, no analytics, no cookies of our own and no tracking scripts. Fonts are built into the pages, so loading a page does not contact Google or any other font service.

Ads on the website. The site does not show ads yet, but we plan to add them to the Ashcore game page to keep it free. The home page and the Pace pages will stay ad-free. Before any ads go live, this section will be updated to name the ad provider and explain what it collects. If that provider uses cookies or similar technology, you will be asked for consent where the law requires it.

Like every website, it is served by a hosting company (Netlify). To deliver pages, the host's servers handle basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type, and may keep them briefly in server logs. We don't use those logs to identify or track anyone. Netlify's own handling is described in Netlify's privacy policy.

When you use Pace or play Ashcore on the website, your data and saves are kept in your browser's own storage on your device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them.

Pace and Pace Pro

Pace (Android app and web version) is free and ad-free. Pace Pro (Android app) is a paid app ($3.99) with the same privacy features and no ads. Both work the same way when it comes to privacy.

Information the apps do not collect

Information you enter, and where it lives

The goals, amounts and notes you type in are:

The "Save everything" feature

"Save everything" turns your data into a code you can copy. Nothing is uploaded. If you choose to send that code somewhere (an email to yourself, a notes app, a message), it travels wherever you send it and is then covered by the privacy practices of the service you used.

Android backup

If your phone's own Android backup is turned on, Android may include the app's data in your personal Google account backup so it comes back on a new phone. That backup belongs to your Google account. We can't see it, and you can turn it off in your phone's settings.

Notifications

Any reminder is generated locally on your device at the time you choose. No push service, notification server or third party is involved.

Third parties

Pace and Pace Pro contain no advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking software development kits and no social media integrations.

Fonts. Some current Android versions of Pace load their typefaces from Google Fonts when the app opens. When that happens, Google receives your device's IP address and basic request details (such as device and browser type and the font requested), as happens whenever any website or app loads a Google font. Nothing you type into the app is included. Newer versions build the fonts into the app, so they contact no one. Google's handling is described in the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Pace Pro is a paid app: Google Play handles the purchase, and we never see your payment details. Google Play's own practices are described in Google's privacy policy.

Not financial advice

The apps perform arithmetic on figures you supply and show the results. They do not provide financial, tax, investment or legal advice.

Ashcore: Idle Burn Clicker

On the website

The web version of Ashcore is free with no ads and collects nothing. Your game save is kept in your browser's storage on your device.

On Android (Google Play)

Your game save stays on your device and is never sent to us. From version 1.3.2, the Android version shows ads, described below.

Fonts. Version 1.3.1 loads two typefaces from Google Fonts when the game opens. When that happens, Google receives your device's IP address and basic request details (such as device type and the font requested). Nothing about your game is included. Version 1.3.2 and later have the fonts built into the game and contact no font service. Google's handling is described in the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Ads in the Android version. The game offers rewarded video ads that you choose to watch for an in-game bonus, with a limit on how many you can watch. It also shows one small banner ad, only inside the upgrade menu. There are no pop-up or full-screen ads you didn't ask for, and nothing in the game is locked behind an ad. These ads are provided by Google AdMob.

The game includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Android's advertising ID permission (AD_ID), which lets the SDK read your device's advertising ID. When the game loads or shows an ad, the SDK collects the following and sends it to Google:

Google uses this to show ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalise ads. This data is encrypted in transit. We (the developer) never receive it in a form that identifies you, and Google keeps it under its own retention rules. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy.

Your choices: if you're in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent message before any ad loads, with a choice to consent or not consent. If you don't consent, the ads you see are not personalised. You can change that choice later. On any Android device you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads under Settings, Google, Ads. If you're in a US state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), using the ad settings above opts you out of personalised ads, which those laws may treat as "sharing" or "selling" data; you can also email us. You can also just never tap a rewarded ad.

Ashcore is meant for players aged 13 and over. It is not designed for children, and its ads are not directed at children.

Everything else

Deleting your information

Because your data is stored on your device, you're in full control of it. Clearing an app's data, uninstalling it, or clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it completely. We hold no copy to delete. Ad data collected by Google AdMob in Ashcore for Android is held by Google; resetting or deleting your advertising ID (Settings, Google, Ads) disconnects it from your device.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used Ashcore for Android, contact us and we will help.

Security

Our apps never send what you type or your game saves anywhere, and we keep no database of user information that could be breached. Font requests and ad traffic go to Google over encrypted connections.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
